November 20, 2024_ Speaker of the National Assembly of Vietnam Trần Thanh Mẫn and Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Alen Simonyan discussed the possibility of signing a cooperation agreement to strengthen parliamentary cooperation. This meeting marks the first visit of the Armenian leader to Vietnam after more than 30 years of diplomatic relations. Mẫn stressed the importance of strengthening traditional friendship and multifunctional cooperation between the two countries, while Simonyan proposed intensifying ties in various fields, including economy and tourism.
