Over 215 people have been arrested on charges of suspected links with the Islamic State (Isis) in 45 provinces of Turkey as part of a maxi operation conducted by security forces. Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced this on 'X', explaining that the suspects carried out various ''activities'' in support of Isis, including the ''financing'' of the terrorist organization.
"We will not allow terrorists to open their eyes. We will continue our fight relentlessly and increase the efforts of the security forces," said Yerlikaya, who also praised the work of the Public Prosecutor's Office and law enforcement officers involved in the operation.
