Deputy foreign minister Marina Sereni will on Wednesday start a three-day visit to Jordan aimed at bolstering Italy's ties with the key Middle East country, Sereni's spokesman Giovanni Orfeit stated.
At the start of her visit, Sereni will sign a framework cooperation agreement for 2021-2023 and will visit projects financed by Italy's overseas aid department to help Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Jordan (in the Hitteen and Zaatari camps),
Sereni will also meet representatives of Jordanian civil society organisations and Italian NGOs operating in the country, according to Orfeit
