November 20, 2024_ Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Supriya Sule has invited BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi to a public debate over allegations of an alleged ‘bitcoin scandal’ in connection with the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Sule has denied all the allegations, calling them conjectures and has filed a criminal complaint against Trivedi and his claims. She has also criticised the BJP for spreading false information ahead of the elections, saying such practices are unacceptable in a democracy. This was reported by Pragativadi. The allegations involve alleged illicit funding through bitcoin to influence the election results in favour of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) coalition, of which the NCP is a part.
