A fifteen-year-old Hungarian girl was swept into the sea by a seven-metre-high wave and killed as she stood on a rock taking a selfie with her aunt, Italian media reports said on Wednesday.
The accident happened at Trinita d'Agultu on Sardinia's northern Paradise Coast, where paradmedics tried in vain to revive the teen for half an hour after a rescue helicopter winched her from rough seas.
The girl's aunt was reported to be in a state of shock after the tragedy.
